One Moore Trip” by Alex Miska – this final book in the light-hearted Moore series is a second-chance romance.

Last Bell” by Alison Hendricks – Second in the Glen Springs series but can be read as a standalone. Features a widowed father falling for the teacher of his daughter.

The Consumption of Magic (Tales from Verania Book 3)” by T J Klune – the final part of this gay fantasy trilogy.

The Long Way” by May Archer – Sequel to “The Easy Way” where Damon’s life in pieces and the only person who can help him is the son of the man who destroyed him.

Other Releases

C.S. Pacat and illustrator, Johanna the Mad, have just released a gay M/M graphic novel called “Fence #1“, the first in a series about 2 teenagers meeting in a fencing competition.

New Releases with a Festive Theme

A Very Marian Christmas” by Lucy Lennox – the seventh book in this series features a new couple getting together over Christmas.

A Dye Hard Christmas” by Aimee Nicole Walker – The fifth and final book in this mystery series should be read as part of the series and isn’t a standalone novel. Gabe and Josh want to celebrate their first Christmas as fathers but nothing goes to plan.

Sorry about the long wait since my last News post. I’ve been busy writing and editing my novels lately but I’m intending to spend more time blogging and hope to have some interesting articles and News round-ups over the next few months.

Upcoming Gay Films

Call Me By Your Name“, the film based on the novel reviewed by me here is due to be released in UK cinemas in October and US cinemas in

November. It stars Timothee Chalamet and Armie Hammer and, after being shown at various film festivals, has had a lot of positive reviews.  (Warning: the main character is seventeen so, in some countries/US states the relationship includes underage sex.)

The closure of gay publishing company Samhain will make many M/M novels by popular authors unavailable, at least for the present time. There’s a blog post by K J Charles here about how it will affect her books and one by Kaje Harper here.

February is LGBT History month so there have been a variety of articles and events for this across the world.

The Church of England voted in favour of LGBT marriage, refusing to endorse a report by the House of Bishops condemning it.

A shooting at a gay nightclub in Albany, New York left 3 injured.

British serial killer, Stephen Port, who killed 4 gay men, has received a life sentence.

Ellen DeGeneres has been given the Medal of Freedom by President Obama for her “courage and candour” in news03-santa-babyhelping improve issues of equality and acceptance.

Lady Gaga spent Black Friday at the Ali Forney Center, an LGBTI homeless kids shelter, singing, talking and meditating with the people there, while Madonna spent Thanksgiving at the same shelter.

Kylie Minogue and other musicians gave support for same-sex marriage at the Australian ARIA Music Awards.
